Andy Marsh

Andrew J. Marsh obtained a MSc. in Intelligent Knowledge Based Systems (1987) and a Ph.D. in Computer Science (1990) from the University of Essex (UK) where he worked from 1990-1994 as a senior research officer.

From 1994, Andrew Marsh has was employed by the ICCS-NTUA (GR) as an HPCN consultant and European projects manager. In 1996-1998 he was the project manager of the EC funded project called EUROMED (2 MECU) that proposed a web-based standard for telemedicine, called VMW.

Andrew Marsh has over 160 scientific publications including 4 books and from 1996-1998 was a visiting professor at the University of Calabria (IT). He is on a number of journal editorial boards, the founder and editor-in-chief for the Journal of ITIS letters, the founder of the ITIS conference and the VMW Magazine where he is chairman of the advisory committee. Andrew Marsh is an expert evaluator and project reviewer for the European Commission and consultant for the ESA.

Since 1998 Andrew Marsh has been CEO of VMW Solutions Ltd a company developing and promoting healthcare compunetic products and services.
